We're only 38 miles or 64 km from the entrance to Cape Breton- The Canso Causeway, and a mere 52 miles or 88 km from the famed Cabot Trail. Halifax International Airport is a three and a half hour drive from our INN with flights arriving daily. Numerous car rentals and limousine service is available at the airport. As you leave Halifax International Airport you bear right along the Trans-Canada and pass Truro, New Glasgow, Antigonish and the Canso Causeway.
As you enter Cape Breton Island, you take a right on the rotary and drive towards Port Hastings through Port Hawkesbury and Highway 4. Take exit 46 to Lennox Passage Bridge, one of the few draw bridges in NS. Once past the bridge you bear right on route 206 past West Arichat and noting Our Lady of Assumption Church which demands a spectacular view of the surrounding area, you are only 2000 meters from the entrance of L'Auberge Acadienne INN to your left hand side.
