The Bluenose II
The Schooner Bluenose was built and launched in Lunenburg on March 26, 1921. Bluenose II was built from identical plans as Bluenose in design of hull, rigging and sail plan and launched July 24, 1963. The image of Bluenose has graced the Canadian dime since 1937. Web Site www.bluenose2.ns.ca
